Normandy Park Mid Century Modern Home

This Normandy Park project consists of a uniquely constructed mid-century rambler. The initial construction of this home was formed by a series of prefabricated steel ribs installed at 8 feet on center. During our initial selective demolition of the structure, extensive dry rot was discovered in the wooden roof system. A secondary roof system was added, along with through ventilation to the original roof system. 2" rigid foam insulation was added to increase energy performance. The home is equipped with a 98% AFEU natural gas boiler providing both hydronic floor heat, and hot water. Extensive air sealing was performed prior to insulation, ensuring that this home operates efficiently.  This project is now completed, and was published on-line in The Seattle Times northwest Magazines' living section.

Thank you for doing a superb job on our home remodel. It was great working with everyone on your team. Your friendly, professional and hard working crew had the expertise to transform our house into a comfortable, beautiful and special place. We found that your forethought, anticipation, experience and problem solving skills kept our project moving and out of trouble.
We particularly appreciated your attention to even the smallest detail while always striving for excellence. Moving back into the house has only increased our admiration for your high quality of construction and how well you've put this house back together. Finally, thanks for making our remodel such a smooth experience.
